Patrick McAlister is the Director of Policy for the Indiana Department of Education. Prior to this role, Patrick served as the Director of Policy for Teach Plus Indiana, an organization that works to bring teacher voice into policy decisions at the local, state and federal level. Patrick started his career as a teacher, working with students in both Charlotte, North Carolina and Indianapolis. A native of Fort Wayne, Patrick holds a BA from Wabash College.
