My Community, My Vision program now accepting applications!

The My Community, My Vision program is now accepting applications for the 2015-2016 program year. Now in its second year, the My Community, My Vision program provides high school students with the opportunity to research and design their own community development plans with assistance from graduate students at the Ball State University School of Urban Planning. Students are empowered to connect with local community leaders, civic organizations and other student groups to determine what their hometowns need to be attract younger generations seeking vibrant living spaces.

In addition to the civic and academic benefits of My Community, My Vision, each applicant group will receive $500 for their sponsoring student organization. Any student organization is welcome to submit an application detailing how their community may benefit from the program, and students not affiliated with a school organization may work in groups with a faculty sponsor to submit an application.
