2005 Statewide Orthophotography Project
Indiana took a bold step forward with the 2005 Statewide Digital Orthophotography Project.
The program created high-resolution orthophotography for counties on a statewide basis to
support homeland security, emergency management, and other business and
government applications.
IGIC worked in partnership with the
State of Indiana to coordinate the Orthophotography Project and local
government participation. IGIC's Orthophotography Workgroup, which continues working on
issues, is comprised of individuals from around the state generously providing their time and
expertise.
