June 19, 2008
The Workgroup is concentrating on street centerlines. IGIC is working on the address point project
so the workgroup will be waiting for that project to get underway before continuing with the addresses.
February 18, 2008
Although the last Workgroup meeting was cut short due to phone problems, we were able to discuss a few items.
In future, we will compare URISA and Nena address standards for points and street centerlines.
January 17, 2008
The Streets and Addresses Workgroup met in December to discuss the inventory of existing local street and
address data, and IGIC's Address Integration Project, with the goal of determining how the workgroup fits in.
The workgroup is also considering what role it will have with National Address Standards, and development of
database schema for the IndianaMap.
September 20, 2007
The workgroup will hold its first meeting on October 9th. At that time,
workgroup members will determine what tasks and goals need to be accomplished.
