Data Sharing Committee
Mission: To provide a blueprint to guide the community of stakeholders on how to
build and maintain the IndianaMap. Address policy issues and partnership agreements
regarding data access and distribution, data security, and data exchange through an adopted Statewide Data Integration Plan.
Objectives
- Compile content into the Statewide Data Integration Plan (using content from the
IndianaMap Committee and Workgroups).
- Make formal recommendation to the State Geographic Information Officer regarding adoption
of the Statewide Data Integration Plan.
- Publish to IGIC website draft and final versions of the approved Statewide Data Integration
Plan.
- Develop recommendations to the State Geographic Information Officer for content of the IndianaMap
Data Exchange Agreements with input from local and state government.
- Assist with execution of data exchange agreements.
- Develop metrics and provide feedback on the status of implementing the Statewide Data Integration Plan.
- Provide access to resources and guidance regarding data security and confidentiality.
