at IUPUI are continuing to offer the popular IndianaMap Seminar Series. These half-day events are generally held in
downtown Indianapolis and offer a wide variety of topical presentations from 1-3 speakers.
Road Shows
Road Shows are full-day events held at locations throughout the state. Usually scheduled for summer, industry and local experts
give presentions based on a single theme.
Webinars
The Webinar series combines live online demonstrations with a conference call, allowing participants to fill their brains without
ever leaving the office.

Join Sally Letsinger of the Indiana Geological Survey to learn how you can use GIS to estimate runoff
potential; analyze conservation plans; calculate groundwater flow rates; or predict how fast contaminants
will move through a stream system. Topics will include:
- Elevation-derived hydrography data
- Resources for hydrology datasets
- Groundwater data in GIS-based analysis
- Incorporating land cover, elevation and soil data into hydrogeology models

This webinar is an introduction to incorporating your business data into Microsoft Virtual Earth or Google Maps, and
publishing the data to the web. Joel Bump of the Indiana Department of Transportation will guide attendees through
the built-in functionality of these products, and the out-of-the-box ways to publish data. No programming experience is required.
Registrants will receive an email with login information and phone number one week prior to the event.
