ICHIA provides health insurance for Indiana residents, of any age, who cannot obtain other health insurance coverage due to health reasons. Premiums are typically high but coverage is guaranteed if one meets the eligibility requirements. ICHIA policies are similar to Major Medical Insurance. 
If you are under 65 and have Medicare due to disability, you may also have ICHIA. ICHIA will pay some items not covered by Medicare, including prescription coverage and additional coverage for mental and nervous disorders. 
ICHIA policies DO NOT act as Medicare Supplement
