* On Wednesday, May 10, 2017 there will be no visits and parking will be modified.

* Beginning April 1, 2017 the IDOC will no longer accept any correspondence on colored paper or enclosed in colored envelopes. All letters, postcards and envelopes must be white. No exceptions.

* All visitors must be able to clear the metal detector(s) and scanning device(s). Failure to do so may result in a non-contact visit or denial of the visitation.

Visiting Guidelines

Notification to all Visitors:  The facility is utilizing non-aggressive canines as part of the entrance shakedown procedures.

 Visitation is from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday (no visitation on Mondays). Visitors must arrive at the facility prior to 2:00 p.m. Approved Visitors Only.

Visitors may receive up to a 2-hour visit, with a minimum of 1-hour.  The amount of time received will be dictated by daily visiting conditions, i.e., available space, emergency situations, etc.
