Technical Assistance
The Evidence-Based Practices-Technical Assistance (EBP-TA) is the technical assistance arm of CEBP. Its mission is to help policy makers and local Community Corrections agencies identify, implement, evaluate, and operate evidence-informed programs, by making the most current scientific and technical information easily accessible through the EBP-TA Clearing House website. In addition, EBP-TA conducts two Learning Institutes each year, to promote IDOC staff’s understanding of EBP principles and goals, and to assist IDOC staff in translating research findings into policy and funding decisions.
