IDOC > Evidence-Based Practice Evidence-Based Practice

Welcome

Bruce LemmonThe Center for Evidence-Based Practice (CEBP) was a joint project of the Indiana Department of Correction (IDOC) and the Center for Adolescent and Family Studies (CAFS) at Indiana University. The CEBP is now the sole Property of the IDOC, Division of Transitional Facilities and Community Based Programs. CEBP is a clearinghouse that offers user-friendly information about national standards and state of the art programs. It is designed to assist Community Corrections officials with selecting, implementing, evaluating programs, services, and treatment practices.

"[We are] committed to continually evaluating and improving how adult and juvenile correctional services are delivered. The IDOC will continually research what works and implement the best practices as proven by evidenced based research.”
