Certification Steps

  1. Register your business with the State of Indiana Procurement Department
    or call 317-234-0234.
  2. Obtain a certification application and read about program requirements
    or call 317-232-3061.
  3. Complete and return your application. There is no processing fee. New applicants may schedule a consultation for assistance.
  4. Indiana applicants receive a site visit.
  5. Out-of-State applicants must be certified as an MBE/WBE in their home state and provide proof of certification and a home state site visit report.
  6. At the applicant's request, the certification application and accompanying documents will be sent to other certifying agencies.

Applications are processed within an average of 45 days.
