Central Mailing Services

Central Mail and Distribution provides accurate, timely pick-up and delivery services for all State Agencies within the Government Center complex and Marion County. More than ten million pieces of mail are produced annually by the State of Indiana and most of that passes through Central Mail and Distribution.

Central Mail and Distribution works with the U.S. Postal Service, FedEx, UPS, and all other major shipping and delivery services to route State parcels.

Pick-up Schedules

Interdepartmental Mail Pick-up Schedule (Mon-Fri)

  • 9:00 a.m.
  • 1:00 p.m.
  • 2:30 p.m.

Contracted Mail Services Pick-up Schedule (Mon-Fri)

  • 10:00 a.m.
  • 12:30 p.m.
  • 2:30 p.m.
  • 4:00 p.m.

Mail prepared after the last scheduled mail pickup may be brought to the Interdepartmental Mailroom in Government Center North, IGC N045, by 3:30pm for timely delivery.
