The New Approach to Security Services

Security ServicesThe Department of Administration (IDOA) Strategic Sourcing Division analyzed contract spend and scope definitions of various Security Services contracts around the state.  The objective of RFP 10-30 was to select a vendor that can satisfy the State’s need for armed and unarmed security guard services.  In doing so, IDOA has awarded the RFP as a split bid to Securitas Security Services and Majestic Security.  As a result of this RFP endeavor, the state shall save 9.1% over the previous segregated contracts.
