Office Paper and Envelopes
Most everyday paper used in the course of doing the state's business may be recycled:
- All white paper, most colored paper (not very dark colors)
- Paper envelopes, including those with windows
- Unwanted junk mail (excluding shiny paper and catalogs)
- Sticky notes
- Manilla file folders
- Computer printouts
Envelopes - Reuse
Paper envelopes that are goldenrod in color (dark yellow-orange) and that are in good condition can be converted into an interoffice envelopes by adding State Form 50196 to the front side.
Reusable Interoffice Envelopes
Interoffice Envelopes should be used as often as possible for mail between state agencies on the Central Mail routes. Use of these envelopes provides savings in terms of both materials and money. If you need more interoffice envelopes check in your department or via Central Mail.
