Vehicle maintenance shops can pose environmental and safety hazards. For example, improperly disposed of car fluids (antifreeze, oil, etc.) can make their way into the water supply. By making sure that these wastes are properly disposed of or recycled, vehicle maintenance shop operators can do a great deal to protect their local communities.
