IDEM is divided into four offices. The first three offices focus on permitting, rulemaking, compliance, and monitoring their respective environmental areas. The fourth office, Pollution Prevention & Technical Assistance, focuses on reducing our impact on the environment and helping businesses comply with environmental rules.
