IDEM will be offering a free, intensive introductory environmental management course for environmental professionals.

The Environmental Management 101 (E101) [PDF] course will provide working professionals with a basic understanding of environmental regulations to effectively manage affairs in their workplace. This introductory level course is designed for individuals who have responsibility for a facility’s environmental compliance but have no or very little, experience with environmental compliance. The course is designed to provide lecture based background for the most common environmental regulations in addition to practical application of those rules in simulated real-life situations. At the conclusion of the course, the participant should be able to achieve basic environmental compliance at any regulated facility. Likewise, the course participant should be able to research answers to complicated regulatory questions and acquire reliable expert guidance from both IDEM and paid consultants.

This training will be held in Goshen, Indiana. It is a five week course that meets on the following dates and times:
