The Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) is pleased to offer Internet access to Agency public records through the Virtual File Cabinet (VFC). The scanning of records continues on a daily basis. IDEM makes every attempt to maintain current and accurate information in this electronic document repository.
The Virtual File Cabinet (VFC) offers a Document Search.
Through these search processes many of IDEM’s records can be immediately available for viewing. Other records may require program review which can be initiated by clicking on the “request” button next to the document number. IDEM staff will review the record to determine whether any portion of the record is exempted from public disclosure by the Indiana Access to Public Records Act Indiana Code 5-14-3-4.
