Wet Weather consists of the following two areas:

  • The Storm Water program manages the permitting of large municipal storm water dischargers, storm water associated with industrial activity (Rule 6), storm water associated with construction activity (Rule 5), and storm water associated with municipal separate storm sewer systems (MS4s) (Rule 13).
  • The Combined Sewer Overflow program augments the NPDES Municipal permitting program by implementing a strategy for the maintenance and management of combined sewer collection systems. The primary objective of this group is to insure the minimization of impacts to waters of the state from combined sewer overflows (CSOs).
