The Notepad is an IDEM quarterly electronic publication designed to inform Indiana educators and school administrators about possibleenvironmental health threats in their buildings and to keep them abreast of environmental education resources.
Lesson plans written and compiled by IDEM staff to provide educators, both formal and non-formal, with information to teach students about Indiana's environment and how IDEM works to protect it. The five lesson plans include, Air Quality, Water Quality, Land Quality, Recycling, and Children's Environmental Health.
IDEM's Environmental Education, Health, and Community Relations Staff exhibit at and host various school presentations, teacher trainings, community events, health fairs, expos, and career workshops throughout the year.
