Project Summary: The Dynamic Corporation is located on a 20-acre parcel in a rural residential area northwest of Lafayette, IN. The facility consists of a 15,000 square foot manufacturing facility and a 2,160 square foot office trailer. Dynamic manufactures high-powered electrical resistors for locomotive and transit car brakes. Construction activities in 1995 identified petroleum impacted soils attributed to a former aboveground storage tank that contained fuel oil. Confirmation sampling and quarterly groundwater monitoring demonstrated that VOCs, PNAs, Metals, and PCBs were below the Tier II Nonresidential Closure cleanup criteria. No active remediation was required. | |
