VIP Idling Program Partners
Vehicle Idling Program (VIP) Partners are progressive companies that recognize they can improve their company and the environment at the same time. Companies that meet the VIP Partnership requirements will benefit from reduced operating costs and enhanced visibility. By defining clear and achievable goals and committing to ambitious strategies, participants in the Vehicle Idling Program Partnership are actively addressing concerns about the harmful effects of diesel emissions and improving the State of Indiana's air quality.
Signing your company up to become a VIP partner is free. All you have to do is sit down with an IDEM representative and discuss what idle reduction strategies are most appropriate for your company. After signing up as partner your company will receive:
- Information on the best way to reduce idling in your company;
- Educational material to teach employees how to reduce idle times;
- A certificate showing your commitment to reduced idling;
- Access to idling reminders for your facility and trucks.
