The IDEM Web site holds a wealth of information that is helpful to citizens. Participation in the rulemaking and permitting process is encouraged and there are tutorials available. Education is available on a myriad number of environmental subjects and there are brochures, posters and pamphlets in the Publications Catalog to help you inform others.
- Community Right to Know: Informs the public about possible chemical hazards in the area.
- Complaints: Need to let us know about pollution in your area? You can call or e-mail our Complaint Coordinator who will take the information and make sure the appropriate IDEM program reviews and investigates. The complaint can be anonymous or you can leave information so IDEM can let you know the results of the investigation.
