Compliance and Technical Assistance Program

CTAP is your one-stop shop for environmental regulatory compliance needs. Staff with experience in all environmental programs are ready to provide technical and confidential compliance assistance on a wide array of environmental topics.

Upcoming Compliance Due Dates

  • July 1:
  • July 10:
    • Monthly Report of Operation form - 34609 (available on the IDEM Forms page) due for Public Water Systems with treatment and/or chemical addition, for the previous monthly reporting period.
  • July 15:
  • July 28:
    • Quarterly Non-Compliance Report due for delegated water Pretreatment Programs (unless otherwise permitted to submit report in August).
    • NPDES Monitoring Report forms (MMRs, MROs, CSO-DMRs and DMRs) due for the previous monthly monitoring period.
  • July 30:
    • Semi-Annual Air Compliance Monitoring Report due for January through June. Check your permit to determine if you are on a quarterly or semi-annual reporting schedule.
    • Air Quarterly Deviation and Compliance Monitoring Report due for April through June. Check your permit to determine if you are on a quarterly or semi-annual reporting schedule.
    • Quarterly Air Permit reports (e.g., usage reports) due for April through June.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) has developed a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Pesticides General Permit (PGP) for point source discharges from the application of pesticides to, over or near Waters of the U.S. The PGP will regulate the application of biological and chemical pesticides used for mosquito and other flying insect pest control, aquatic weed and algae control, aquatic nuisance animal control and forest canopy pest control. All eligible pesticide application operators will be required to seek permit coverage once the mandate takes effect on April 9, 2011.
