Claire Fiddian-Green

As Executive Director, Ms. Fiddian-Green is responsible for establishing the vision and mission of the Indiana Charter School Board, and for designing and implementing its authorizing activities. Prior to joining the Indiana Charter School Board in June 2011, Ms. Fiddian-Green was President of The Mind Trust, an Indianapolis-based education reform non-profit. As President of The Mind Trust, Ms. Fiddian-Green worked closely with The Mind Trust’s Founder and CEO, David Harris, to lead the organization and expand its influence in Indianapolis. Previously, Ms. Fiddian-Green served as Grants Officer for the Richard M. Fairbanks Foundation, a private foundation awarding grants to qualifying organizations in the greater Indianapolis area. Prior to her role at the Foundation, Ms. Fiddian-Green was employed by Eli Lilly and Company as a Senior Analyst in the company’s Corporate Finance Investment Banking group, where she focused on Licensing and Mergers & Acquisitions.
Ms. Fiddian-Green currently serves in a number of volunteer community roles, including Board member for the Mayor of Indianapolis-sponsored charter school KIPP Indianapolis College Preparatory. In 2009, Ms. Fiddian-Green was one of 25 emerging young leaders selected from a pool of applicants to participate in the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series, a highly competitive year-long program that aims to expand the ranks of community leadership by providing class members with the knowledge and incentive to confront the needs of central Indiana. Ms. Fiddian-Green holds an Honors degree in Political Science and a degree in Russian Studies from Brown University, and an MBA from Columbia University with a concentration in Finance and General Management.
Anne Davis

Anne Davis serves as the Director of Accountability for the Indiana Charter School Board (“ICSB”). In this role, Ms. Davis is responsible for implementing and continuously improving the ICSB's accountability system, including processes, procedures and reporting. She serves as the primary point of contact for ICSB authorized charter schools with respect to accountability requirements. Ms. Davis also plays a lead role during the charter school application cycle in vetting new applicants. Prior to joining the ICSB, Ms. Davis served as Director of Individualized Learning (overseeing the areas of Title I, Title II, and Title III) and Director of Special Education for the Indiana Department of Education. She has served in various elementary and secondary school leadership, administrative and teaching roles, including the roles of building principal and special education administrator within the School City of Hammond (Indiana). Ms. Davis holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from Valparaiso University, an M.S. in Education and Administrative Certificate from Indiana University, and also holds a Director of Exceptional Learners certificate from Purdue University. Outside of her role with the ICSB, Ms. Davis serves on the University of Phoenix College of Education Advisory Board.
Emily Richardson

Emily Richardson serves as the Director of Legal Affairs & Policy for the Indiana Charter School Board (“ICSB”). In this role, Ms. Richardson facilitates compliance of the ICSB with all relevant federal, state and local laws and regulations. She also advises the ICSB on any new laws and regulations that pertain to charter authorizing and charter schools. Ms. Richardson also plays a lead role during the charter school application cycle, and in holding ICSB-authorized schools accountable for their performance. Finally, she serves as the ICSB's liaison with the Indiana Authorizers Alliance. Prior to joining the ICSB, Ms. Richardson served as Assistant Director for the Office of School Improvement and Turnaround for the Indiana Department of Education. Earlier in her career, she was a 2nd grade teacher in Lambert, Missouri, as a Teach For America corps member and alumna. Ms. Richardson holds a B.A., magna cum laude, from Hamilton College, a J.D. from Indiana University – Bloomington, and is a Ph.D. candidate (December 2013) from Indiana University – Bloomington in Education Policy Studies.
Sarah McClamroch Sullivan

Sarah McClamroch Sullivan joined the Indiana Charter School Board (“ICSB”) as Manager in August 2011. In this role, Ms. Sullivan implements and continuously improves the ICSB's application processes and procedures, and facilitates ICSB communications through oversight of the website and social media accounts. Specific areas of responsibility include: overseeing the charter school application evaluation process, designing communications materials related to the ICSB application process, conducting information sessions and Webinars for interested charter school applicants, supporting newly authorized schools during the Pre-Opening period, and maintaining the ICSB website. Ms. Sullivan serves as the primary point of contact for ICSB charter school applicants and third-party application evaluators with respect to questions about ICSB application submission and evaluation requirements. Prior to joining the Indiana Charter School Board, Ms. Sullivan was an account manager at VSA Partners, a graphic design and strategic branding agency located in Chicago, IL. She graduated with a degree in Communication from DePauw University.
