Legacy Projects > Adams Mill Operation Restoration Adams Mill Operation Restoration
This project is to restore operation of the milling equipment in the historic Adams Mill. It has not been able to operate even in demonstration since 2003 when a flood significantly damaged the dam which provided the water for power. Equipment will be powered by an electric motor and related line shafts. The long term goal is to restore operations with water power generated by a restored dam and mill race. The current project is to get machinery into operational condition to allow demonstrations to weekend and special tour visitors.
