Library staff and volunteers set up 18 holes of golf throughout the library building. Each hold was decorated with local landmarks and/or Indiana trivia questions to celebrate the Bicentennial.

What do you consider the key accomplishment of your Legacy Project?

  • The Friends of the Library and the Literacy Coalition were able to raise a large sum of money for library programs and educational curriculum.

Describe a highlight or most memorable moment related to your Legacy Project.

  • Volunteers from both organizations worked together to sponsor the program.

How/where are you preserving information and artifacts related to your Legacy Project?

  • The library has a scrapbook in which all Bicentennial Programs have been recorded.
