Indiana Bicentennial Celebration 2016
Legacy Projects > Santa Shop Santa Shop
The Metropolitan School District of Shakamak is a very poor district. The holidays can be a tough time for families, especially children wanting to get gifts for their parents. Staff members created a Santa Shop containing a variety of items donated by staff members. Students can anonymously shop for gifts and wrap them for their family members. This year, the program has been expanded and is accepting donations from the community as we celebrate the states Bicentennial.
