Legacy Projects > Pioneer Days at Eastern Greene Elementary Pioneer Days at Eastern Greene Elementary
The Eastern Greene 4th grade classes celebrated life in 1816 by making candles and participating in pioneer activities. In addition to making candles, the students were taught about Abraham Lincoln moving to Indiana in 1816, played pioneer games and learned what it was like to be a kid in 1816.
