Indiana Bicentennial Celebration 2016

Legacy Projects > Hancock County Cemetery Commission Restoration Project Hancock County Cemetery Commission Restoration Project

The Hancock County Cemetery Commission is excited to host a Community Day of Caring at Caldwell Cemetery, a pioneer resting place, during October, following the Hancock County Bicentennial Birthday Celebration. The commission will be joined by county youth from 4-H clubs, Boy Scout troops, and many volunteers from community organizations, including Historic Landmarks, as well as families of those buried at Caldwell Cemetery. The Hancock County Sheriff’s Department is accommodating the event by providing parking and restrooms. The bicentennial will be promoted through fliers and press releases to the local newspaper.
