Indiana Bicentennial Celebration 2016

Legacy Projects > Indiana Bicentennial Walking Challenge for Switzerland County Indiana Bicentennial Walking Challenge for Switzerland County

The Walking Challenge will celebrate our state’s history by preparing for the future through healthy living. This step-counting challenge encourages participants to log their steps in a neighborly competition to win a free lunch and a prize basket. Throughout the challenge, the Switzerland County Extension Office will provide a weekly e-newsletter with a running leader board, healthy recipes, and bicentennial facts about our state and Switzerland County. Walking the entire Bicentennial Torch Relay path collectively is the goal over the course of the summer by getting in the recommended 10,000 steps a day.
