Legacy Projects > Millions of Indiana Vital Records Become Available to Public Millions of Indiana Vital Records Become Available to Public

This project makes available just under 17 million Indiana birth, death, and marriage records for the first time. The project was conducted in collaboration with Ancestry.com and the Indiana State Department of Health. The records will be available beginning June 1 through Ancestry.com. Access can also be provided at the Indiana State Archives located at 6440 E. 30th St. in Indianapolis. The digitized records include Indiana marriage records from 1958-2005, Indiana death records from 1900-201, and Indiana birth certificates from 1907-1940.
