Apple Dumpling Days/Fayette County Indiana Bicentennial Celebration will be held September 24 & 25, 2016 in downtown Connersville on Central Ave. The festival will feature historic displays, children’s activities, entertainment, apple dumplings, a farmers market, Sudoku tournament, and artisan booths. The event is free and open to the public from 12-6 p.m. on Saturday and 9-2 p.m. on Sunday. The highlight will be the culmination of the Bicentennial Torch Relay coming into Fayette County and being on display at the courthouse. The relay will enter Fayette County at 3 p.m. and travel along St. Rd. 44 west to east.
