Legacy Projects > Going Native with Animalia Going Native with Animalia

The program’s goal is to connect people to the animals in their own back yard and to demonstrate the diversity of species within the state of Indiana now and since the state’s founding 200 years ago. The changing face of the landscape by humans has played a significant role in the change of native animal population sizes and species diversity. Participants will be able to meet native species such as birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians up close and personal in this interactive animal education program.
