Legacy Projects > 200 Years on the Banks of the Wabash Visual Art Exhibition 200 Years on the Banks of the Wabash Visual Art Exhibition

Arts Illiana, Arts Council of the Wabash Valley, announces “200 Years on the Banks of the Wabash,” an art exhibition open to all visual artists in Indiana. This exhibition celebrates both the 2016 Bicentennial of Indiana’s statehood and the 200th anniversary of Terre Haute being platted out as a town. In addition, the exhibition pays tribute to the historic Indiana Wabash River. Terre Haute was once called a “child of the river,” and we look forward to seeing how this theme is interpreted and expressed by an eclectic mix of artists from all across Indiana.
