“Steps Through Time” is a free event; open and accessible to the public, relevant to Indiana and celebrating local heritage.  It will take place on September 16 – 18, 2016.  This will take place in downtown Columbus.  Partnering with the Bicentennial Torch Relay, the event will be made even bigger with local residents carrying the torch through our county.  The venue will be filled with exhibits from local organizations displaying Bartholomew County history.  Youth and adults will learn about historic figures such as Clessie Cummins, Q.G. Noblitt, J. Irwin Miller and others to learn to dream big and become legends of the future.  “Steps Through Time” will highlight the people, events, places and businesses that have made our county a wonderful place to work and live.
