A badge is more than a decoration. It is a link between our American heritage and local history. The City of Bedford Police Department will use its badges to honor and commemorate Indiana’s bicentennial. The City of Bedford Police Department’s commemorative badge honors Indiana while symbolizing the police department oath and responsibility to be protectors, defenders, and peacekeepers to the citizens of Bedford and people of Indiana.
