The Bicentennial Arbor Day Celebration will offer a week of activities, including a smaller tree giveaway during the Clean Shelby Day event at the fairgrounds, a tulip tree planting at every county school, city hall and court house. There will be a half-day celebration at Blue River Memorial Park one morning during the week. We will invite elected officials, local groups and students to attend. There will also be another round of native tree plantings and urban nursery plantings.
