Legacy Projects > History of Indiana: A Bicentennial Celebration History of Indiana: A Bicentennial Celebration

Prepare for fun and celebration of our shared state history with the whole family! Join Hannah Lindahl Children’s Museum on Saturday, April 30th from 1-5 pm for a free event in honor of Indiana’s Bicentennial. Create with history-related arts and crafts, get active with our vintage games, have a tasty Indiana-themed snack, take home a memory from the historic costumed photo booth, see firsthand how fiber becomes clothing, hear stories of our state’s past, and meet historic Indiana figures in person. HLCM’s unique exhibits will be open during this time. You will be able to attend class in the one-room schoolhouse, purchase a candy stick from the general store clerk, or send a postcard from the vintage post office.
