Hope Heritage Days will celebrate its 49th year in 2016. Long considered the quintessential Hoosier Celebration, the event is Bartholomew County’s largest and oldest multi-day festival and is home to the Pioneer Village. This attraction is a step back in time for visitors and will provide youth with old fashioned experiences. Blacksmith, tinsmith, corn shelling and grinding, and candle dipping demonstrations will all be available. Though these activities, the city of Hope, Indiana hosts ways for present-day Hoosiers to get in touch with their pioneer roots.
