Legacy Projects > Celebrating Indiana's Legacy Teachers Celebrating Indiana's Legacy Teachers

This program aims to identify, recognize and honor Indiana teachers who come from teaching families. From self-reports and stories, we know there are many current teachers who are third, fourth, even fifth generation educators. This project will help identify those teachers, and provide recognition for their dedication to Indiana’s children and their profession. This project may also help encourage youth to consider following family traditions and becoming Indiana teachers in the future.
