Legacy Projects > Born Learning Trail Born Learning Trail

Certain United Ways in Indiana will install “Born Learning Trails” in community parks and public spaces. A Born Learning Trail is typically an outdoor trail with stations describing or providing age-appropriate, interactive games and learning activities for parents and their caregivers to engage very young children. Because 85% of a child’s brain is developed by age 5, United Ways and Funds aim to create opportunities to remind parents and caregivers that every moment is a teaching moment.
