Legacy Projects > 50th Anniversary of Muscatatuck Wildlife Refuge 50th Anniversary of Muscatatuck Wildlife Refuge

2016 is a big year for Indiana, Jackson County and the Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge. The refuge is more than 7,000 of natural lands that help bring thousands of birds and swamp livers to the area. Several events will be held in 2016 to celebrate the 50th birthday of the Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge. Bird sits, bird counts, bird walks, preschool craft times, Migratory Bird Festival, public lands days, kid fishing activities, Log Cabin Day and photo contests to name a few of the activities!
