Legacy Projects > Always La Porte County Always La Porte County

The La Porte County Public Library System’s year-long initiative to celebrate La Porte County during the bicentennial of 2016 will be focusing on engaging and inspiring the youth and all members of the community by hosting classes and events on the history and the future of La Porte County. The Library’s year long theme is “Always La Porte County”. By focusing on our unique qualities throughout the year in “Always Creating”, “Always Learning”, “Always Playing”, “Always Growing” and “Always Home”, we are able to plan classes and events which highlight our community and county.
