Legacy Projects > Restoration of the Clock Tower, Montgomery County Courthouse, Crawfordsville Restoration of the Clock Tower, Montgomery County Courthouse, Crawfordsville

The planning of the reconstruction of the clock tower for the Montgomery County Courthouse is underway. The project is set for completion in 2016 as a part of the Bicentennial celebration. The old tower was removed in 1941 and the bell melted down for the war effort. Current feasibility studies and building plans are complete. The restoration of the clock tower to the courthouse will be a lasting legacy to the people in our community and state and restores the cultural history and focal point of our downtown area here in Montgomery County.
