Leading Indiana Bred Horses Receive Honors

The Indiana Horse Racing Commission and the Indiana Thoroughbred Breed Development Advisory Committee are proud to announce the First Annual Awards Dinner honoring Indiana Thoroughbreds. The award ceremony, held February 17th at Hoosier Park, recognizes the leading Indiana Bred money earners for the 2000 racing season. Award recipients are:
- 2 year-old colt/gelding: Salutee owner: Theresa McArthur
- 2 year-old filly: Ramona's Rose owners: Larry Dean and David Jones
- 3 year-old colt/gelding: Special Express owner: Guy Trolinger
- 3 year-old filly: Marciann owner: John Hajduk
- Aged horse/gelding: Vic's Rebel owners: Jim and Vicki Riddle
- Aged mare: Listen Honey owner: Bonnie Fuller
- Horse of the Year: Marciann owner: John Hajduk
- Owner of the Year: Guy Trolinger
- Breeder of the Year: Guy Trolinger
- Stallion of the Year: Jungle Express owner: Guy Trolinger
