HRC > Standardbred > Indiana Stallion Registry Indiana Stallion Registry

The Indiana Standardbred Advisory Board maintains the official Indiana Stallion Registry. In order for a foal to be classified as Indiana Sired, the stallion must be registered with the Indiana Standardbred Advisory Board the year the foal was conceived. The deadline for registering a stallion is October 1st prior to the breeding season (February 15 through July 15) which the stallion is standing in Indiana. A new stallion to Indiana may be registered after the October 1st deadline, but if a stallion has been previously registered in Indiana and misses the deadline, there is a late fee required. For more information, please contact Jessica Barnes, Director of Standardbred Racing at (317) 233-3120.
