IAH Members Can Now Subscribe to the Indiana Magazine of History for Reduced Rates

 

The IAH Board recently announced that IAH members will be able to subscribe to the Indiana Magazine of History at the following reduced rates:

Print: $19.20 (reduced from $32.00)

Electronic: $16.80 (reduced from $28.00)

Combo: $24.00 (reduced from $40.00)

To access these discounted rates and subscribe, go to the Indiana Magazine of History website and click on the drop-down menu for "Subscription Type," select "Member Rate," and then click on the link to add your selection to the cart and check out. Here's the starting link:

Remember, all current IAH memberships will expire on December 31, 2017, so December or January will be the time to renew. We will also be offering a lifetime membership for the donation of $250. This will soon be added to the membership renewal form on the IAH website.


Just Announced: Two New Awards from IAH

Walter Nugent Graduate Student Paper Prize &
Indiana Association of Historians/James H. Madison Award

Walter Nugent Graduate Student Paper Prize

The Indiana Association of Historians announces the creation of the Walter Nugent Graduate Student Paper Prize, a $250 award that will be given to the best graduate student paper presented at the annual IAH meeting. The prize is named for the first president of IAH, Professor Walter Nugent. The award is open to all graduate students who appear on the program and will be selected by a prize committee prior to the meeting.  The award will be given at the annual meeting.

Indiana Association of Historians/James H. Madison Award

The Indiana Association of Historians also announces the creation of the Indiana Association of Historians/James H. Madison Award for the best scholarly article published in the Indiana Magazine of History.  The award is named for Professor James H. Madison in recognition of his years of service to the profession and to IAH.  A committee selected from the IAH Board and the IMH Board will select the recipient from all articles published in the calendar year prior to the annual meeting.  The award of $250 will be presented at the annual meeting.
