In my service at the Indiana General Assembly, I have been encouraged by the level of involvement, education, and awareness of public issues that the citizens of House District 87 possess. You and your neighbors are a goldmine of varied life, professional, and public experience and knowledge, and I am honored to serve you. With that in mind, I would like to compile a listing of constituents who have expertise in a given field and would be willing to be a resource I could tap. You may, for example, own your own construction company, and as such would have practical information regarding performance bonds, building materials standards, and the like. Or, you may be a wine enthusiast or a vintner, and I could contact you regarding your experience in restrictions on in-state and out -of-state shipments of wine and beer. The possibilities are endless–genealogists, day care users or providers, outdoorsmen, or whatever your experience and knowledge–all of you could contribute valuable and pertinent information and serve as an important resource in the policy making process. If you have an expertise or experience in any given field and you desire to participate, please remit the following form to my office. If more than one person in your household would like to participate, please copy the form and return one per person. My staff will compile the information and organize it so that, when appropriate, I can contact you directly and get your feedback. |
