About the Heartland Walk for Health
The seventh annual Heartland Walk for Health took place on August 13, 2011 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. The event was a huge success!
I would like to thank everyone that joined in our effort to increase awareness about women’s heart health. Please know that you truly made a difference.
A special thank you goes out to the many sponsors that so graciously donated items for this event. Your generosity was greatly appreciated by all in attendance.
Even though this year’s walk has concluded, the fight against heart disease goes on. I encourage everyone to implement exercise into their daily routine and to try to lead a heart healthy lifestyle. Consider having a Heart to Heart conversation with the ones you love.
I hope to see you next year! Thank you for helping make Indiana a more heart-healthy state.
